At Ysgol Bodfari, we recognise that every child enhances our school with their own individual talents and personality. We aim for all the children in our care to reach their full potential and become independent learners, across all aspects of a broad and balanced curriculum, within a secure and stimulating environment. We aim to both challenge their thinking and celebrate their achievements. We aim to foster an atmosphere of respect and co-operation between pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community, where everyone feels valued for their contribution to school life.
The Governors would like to invite you to learn about Busy Bods, our wrap around care offer.
Although primarily an English medium school, we are committed to promoting the language and culture of Wales and all our children learn Welsh as a second language. Children are often taught in small groups or individually and it is our aim that each child is given the utmost help and motivation to achieve their potential.
The school is very well resourced for all subject areas, including a computer suite and fabulous outdoor play areas.
For busy working parents we are able to offer excellent wrap around care; this includes a breakfast club which opens at 8am, Playgroup sessions and After School Club which runs until 5.30pm.
Ysgol Bodfari is nestled at the foot of the Clwydian Range in the picturesque village of Bodfari, 3 miles from Denbigh and 5 miles from St Asaph. We are a small rural school and pride ourselves in having a caring, family orientated outlook, firmly believing that children do not learn unless they feel happy and secure.
Free school transport is available to children who live in Tremeirchion, Afonwen, or within the outer reaches of our catchment area. Please ask in school for more information.
